The 2002 McGill consensus statement, recommending mandibular two-implant overdentures as the first-choice standard of care for edentulous patients, ushered in a new era of care for patients who had struggled for many years with conventional prostheses. This 2 day didactic and hands-on program is for the GP who wants to improve their fundamental surgical skill set. Participants will be able to experience a wide variety of
surgical procedures typically seen in a GP office, but the emphasis will be on developing effective clinical skills in flaps, suturing and extractions.

This course is limited attendance with a low instructor to student ratio and will take place in our simulation lab where you will learn on phantom heads, special dental models, and pig mandibles.
