This immersive course is designed to elevate your skills in implant surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation, taking you through a complete learning journey—from foundational anatomical principles to complex clinical applications. Whether you are an experienced clinician looking to refine your expertise or a practitioner eager to deepen your understanding of implantology, this course offers a unique blend of theory, hands-on practice, and clinical case management.

Starting with a thorough evaluation of anatomical bases, we will explore the indications for implant placement, focusing on the crown-down approach. This technique enables participants to identify the future free gingival margin and assess whether the site requires tissue regeneration or is in an optimal condition. We will then dive into prosthetic profile evaluation as a fundamental step in surgical planning, followed by an in-depth analysis of various implant site scenarios: immediate post-extraction implants, implants in healed tissues, and advanced soft and hard tissue management.

Key surgical techniques will be covered, including connective tissue graft, free gingival graft, horizontal and vertical bone augmentation and soft tissue management. We will also explore the biological considerations of the implant-to-restoration interface, ensuring long-term success. Alongside these surgical principles, emphasis will be placed on the planning and design of the prosthetic rehabilitation, balancing the critical biological factors with the esthetic excellence required for every restoration.

During the second session of the course, participants will be tasked with applying the knowledge gained in the first phase. You will plan and execute clinical cases, starting from patient evaluation and surgical planning to the actual surgery, concluding with the delivery of provisional restorations where applicable. This rea-world application solidifies the concepts learned and gives you confidence to bring these advanced techniques into your practice.

The tilted implant approach has been a revolutionary technique that has changed the way total implant-supported rehabilitation is done. Increased patient comfort, time savings, cost savings, and improved esthetic outcome are just some of the advantages brought by these treatments in modern dentistry. Thanks to new trans-sinusal and trans-crestal implant placement methods, it is possible to avoid bone grafting and take advantage of residual bone by tilting the implants not only in the mesto-distal but also in the palato-vestibular direction. 

During this course you will learn how to provide immediate esthetic rehabilitation a few hours after surgery ensuring immediate loading in every situation.

Course objectives

• Understand the tilted implant treatment concept, including All-on-4®, V-II-V, and zygomatic implants, as cost-efficient and predictable options for edentulous patients.
• Recognize the importance of prosthetically driven implant planning to achieve highly esthetic immediate provisional results.
• Understand all technical steps required to deliver a highly functional and esthetic final restoration.
• Identify final restorative options that are easy to maintain for both the patient and the clinician.

Hands-on

You will be able to try the original protocols with your own hands and place implants according to the Tilted Implants approach. Through surgery on plastic models, it will be possible for each participant to try All-on-4® and Zygomatic implants as well as the positioning of the provisional prosthesis.
