Expanding the clinician’s awareness of prosthetic and surgical treatment options for edentulous arches, this advanced course will look at both fixed and removeable options including the All-on-4 treatment concept. Participants will focus on the practical skills necessary for selecting and treating edentulous patients. You will learn how to recognize potential patients in your practice and introduce the surgical and restorative procedures that are essential to the success of this treatment option. This course will also discuss the recognition, diagnosis, and management of both surgical and prosthetic complications associated with full-arch rehabilitation. Hands-on exercises and demonstrations for both the surgical and prosthetic aspects will enable the participants to experience the details of the All-on-4 treatment concept.
-Understand the surgical and prosthetic step-by-step protocol for the All-on-4 treatment concept
-Learn how to make impressions and jaw related records
-Know how to produce a provisional prosthesis for Immediate Function and same-day treatment
-Be introduced to the workflow of guided vs. non-guided surgical techniques for the All-on-4 treatment concept
-Understand patient case selection strategies and present guidelines that optimize the overall success of these techniques
-Be familiar with potential surgical and prosthetic complications associated with the All-on-4 treatment concept
-Understand the financial and practice management aspects of these comprehensive patient treatment cases and be able to integrate the All-on-4 treatment concept in the practice.
