The All-on-4® treatment concept is a highly efficient and effective solution for patients who are edentulous or facing tooth loss. This innovative approach uses four implants to support a full-arch prosthesis, which can be delivered immediately, offering patients rapid and reliable results. During 2 Days of Clinical Residence with Prof. Paulo Malo, the pioneer of the All-on-4®protocol, will guide on how the patient will have immediate function and excellent esthetics with a limited number of implants This course also introduces a variety of other cases such as zygoma, single and multiple implants through hands-on activities, live surgeries, lectures, prosthetic considerations, and clinical case discussions. In addition, the goal is for you to gain comfort with the procedures as outlined below. For those of you with experience in dental implants, you will gain tips and tricks from our experienced clinicians. Given the synergy between surgery and prosthetics, it’s important to understand both, regardless of your area of interest.

Learning Objectives:

The following model-based procedures will be included in the hands-on instruction:

1) Review anatomy and surgical protocol

2) Place 2 implants for mandibular overdenture

3) Place single implants

4) Suturing procedures on a soft tissue model

5) Temporary crown fabrication

6) Place, pick up, and size locators for mandibular overdentures

The tilted implant approach has been a revolutionary technique that has changed the way total implant-supported rehabilitation is done.

Increased patient comfort, time savings, cost savings, and improved esthetic outcome are just some of the advantages brought by these treatments in modern dentistry. Thanks to new trans-sinusal and trans-crestal implant placement methods, it is possible to avoid bone grafting and take advantage of residual bone by tilting the implants not only in the mesio-distal but also in the palato-vestibular direction.

You will be able to try the original protocols with your own hands and place implants according to the Tilted Implants approach. Through surgery on anatomical preparation, it will be possible for each participant to try in real bone every rehabilitation option for atrophic jaws: All-on-4 maxillary and mandibular, Trans-Sinus, Trans-Crestal, Pterygoid and Zygomatic implants.

-Learn  how to place tilted implants following the original all-on-4 and V-II-V protocol.

-Learn how to manage implant failure in total rehabilitation with tilted implants.

-Learn how to perform trans-sinus and trans-crestal implants in thin residual ridge.

-Learn how to place single and double zygomatic implants.

This small group comprehensive 2-Day program focuses on the merits of embracing Immediacy as a patient centered implant prosthodontic treatment solution. Through a series of live and previously recorded surgeries, formal presentations, group discussions and hands-on training, dental teams will become familiar with the merits of Immediacy Protocols for both the single tooth and full arch solutions. Particular emphasis will be placed on how best to have the entire team embrace and advocate for Immediacy Protocols to be adopted in dental practices.
