En este curso, queremos trasmitir los conceptos quirúrgicos, protésicos y estéticos necesarios para poder planificar y ejecutar cualquier caso de implantes, en un entorno predecible en el tiempo, gestionando nuestros recursos de la forma más eficiente.

Objetivos

• Organizar, gestionar y dirigir el protocolo de primera visita, diagnóstico, elaboración de plan de tratamiento y formas de plantear el presupuesto y plan económico.
• Historia clínica del paciente de implantes, manejo clínico de factores de riesgo, metabolopatías, anticoagulantes, enfermedades sistemas, bifosfonatos, enfermedades psiquiátricas y neurológicas a tener en cuenta.
• Entender la biología y traducción clínica del hueso crestal, factor que condiciona la técnica quirúrgica, el diseño protésico, la prevención de la periimplantitis y la fidelización del paciente.
• Aprender las técnicas quirúrgicas y el manejo de sus complicaciones, así como su planificación para poder tratar cualquier caso con seguridad.
• Entender la importancia del diseño de la prótesis y su mantenimiento, sus conceptos mecánicos y biológicos e incorporar una gestión del laboratorio moderna, con visión clínica y de crecimiento asumiendo unos protocolos de eficiencia en los controles del gasto.
• Incorporar los conceptos de estética facial así como aprender todas las técnicas de estética y manejo de rellenos.

Course Abstract:

There are a lot of special precautions when we do dental implants at the posterior maxillary and mandibular region. It’s never meant to be very easy, although not esthetically as important when compare with the implant in the esthetic zone. All sorts of posterior problems such as the ID nerve and lingual nerve, the maxillary sinus, the proximity to the throat and airway, the accessibility due to the cheek and the

tongue makes placing dental implant in this region more challenging. Moreover, there are unique resorption pattern such as maxillary sinus pneumontization and the typical knife edge posterior mandibular ridge and loss of vertical bone volume sometimes made dental implant placement very difficult and risky.

This course aims to walk you through the journey of knowing the limitation, pre-operative assessment and decision marking when doing dental implant at the posterior region of the jaw. Bone augmentation at this area will be mentioned as well as immediate placement. We hope to give you

some up-to-date evidence based practical tips during the 2 days learning. Live surgical demonstration, hands-on practical sessions and case base small group discussions will also be provided, hoping to make the course more interactive. We will see you there!

This 2-day program will show case all the steps involved in the diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of immediate provisionalization for the full-arch hands-on training, you will understand this remarkable same day solution for completely edentulous patients and those with a terminal dentition.

Introduction to different techniques and new products: Hands-on, live surgery, lectures, prosthetics considerations and clinical case discussions. The All-on-4® treatment concept is a highly efficient and effective solution for patients who are edentulous or facing tooth loss. This innovative approach uses four implants to support a full-arch prosthesis, which can be delivered immediately, offering patients rapid and reliable results. During 2 Days of Clinical Residence with Prof. Paulo Malo, the pioneer of the All-on-4®protocol, will guide on how the patient will have immediate function and excellent esthetics with a limited number of implants This course also introduces a variety of other cases such as zygoma, single and multiple implants through hands-on activities, live surgeries, lectures, prosthetic considerations, and clinical case discussions.
