Training based on scientific literature and techniques clinically applied in our practice for the past 30 years and that allows you to offer your patients optimal and predictable results.
Our goal is to offer advanced refresher courses that challenge participants, improve their manual dexterity, and their surgical and prosthetic skills so that they are able to apply the techniques learned in their own practice as soon as the course is over.
No matter your level of training in implantology, this course is designed to leave you with increased confidence, new skills and renewed practice. A training combining clinically applicable scientific evidence, practical exercises and live surgeries on the patient.
Our modern training facilities in Quebec City await you with a unique spirit and a very special atmosphere. The friends and colleagues you will meet here may come from very different national and professional backgrounds, but they have one thing in common that unites them all: they are very passionate about their profession!

Session three will be located in Mexico and will consist of two full days of live surgeries on patients that are unable to afford dental work. These patients consist of low income individuals and families that are trying to improve their quality of life. This is a phenomenal opportunity to improve your surgical implant skills on real live patients while simultaneously helping and serving those in need.

This 2 day didactic and hands-on program is for the GP who wants to improve their fundamental surgical skill set. Participants will be able to experience a wide variety of
surgical procedures typically seen in a GP office, but the emphasis will be on developing effective clinical skills in flaps, suturing and extractions.

This course is limited attendance with a low instructor to student ratio and will take place in our simulation lab where you will learn on phantom heads, special dental models, and pig mandibles.

Learning Objectives

• Effectively assess patient and procedural risks

Simulation lab experience will include:

• Flap design
• Suturing (interrupted, continuous locking, figure of 8)

• Simple extractions (forceps and elevators)
•  Surgical extractions (bone and soft tissue sparing)
• Impactions (lower mesio-angular and horizontal)
• Root removal
• Incision and Drainage (drain placement)
• Oral-antral penetration repair (sliding flaps)

• Socket preservation and basic GB
• Sinus bump (Summers procedure)
• Connective tissue grafting
• Introduction to implant placement (guided and freehand)
