La 1ère année correspondant à l’acquisition des fondamentaux est fondée sur une progressivité de la formation initiale en implantologie. Embracing immediacy and simplicity as the new paradigm for patient care in implantology - A 2-Day Program
This small group comprehensive 2-Day program focuses on the merits of embracing immediate implant placement as a patient centered implant prosthodontic treatment solution. Through a series of live and previously recorded surgeries, formal presentations, group discussions and hands-on training, dental teams will become familiar with the merits of immediate placement protocols for both the single tooth and full arch solutions. Particular emphasis will be placed on how best to have the entire team embrace and advocate for immediate implant placement protocols to be adopted in dental practices.

Hands-on training Introduction to implant prosthodontics and intraoral scanning
This introduction to Implant Prosthodontics Hands-On Training Program is designed for general dentists and members of their team to learn to handle and use implant surgical and prosthodontic components. Participants will be introduced to, and use, surgical drills and all surgical components required for an appropriate surgical drilling sequence, drilling into model blocks of varying densities and placement of a dummy implant. Prosthodontic components ranging from healing abutments, temporary abutments, impression copings and overdenture solutions will be discussed and handled. You will also learn about the benefits of intra-oral scanning for the patient and clinic as well as smile design and the importance of clinical photos. Participants practice scanning on models and each other.

The predictable management of the maxillary sinus requires an understanding of the treatment option including direct and indirect site preparation for placement of dental implants. It is imperative to understand the possible pathologies of the maxillary sinus as well as the treatment differences for each.
This 3-day (30 CE) course will include these learning topics:
- Requirements for evaluating and determining the health status of the Maxillary Sinus,
- Understanding the pathology related to the Maxillary Sinus and subsequent treatment options,
- Working with a physician/ENT in the management of infected Maxillary Sinuses,
- Management of soft tissue and hard tissue tuberosities,
- Lateral access (Direct) procedures for single and multi-lobulated sinuses,
- Crestal access (Indirect) procedures for single implant placement,
- Direct and Indirect subnasal elevation grafts,
- When to consider direct or indirect treatment protocols,
- How to manage sinus membrane perforations and other complications.

Core 4: PRF Workshop & Live-Patient Implant Surgery Program - Instructors TBD
The first day of this 3-day program focuses on the science and protocols of utilizing PRF and PRP in different clinical applications. Venipuncture is taught by a highly experienced phlebotomy instructor. The remaining two days will be spent treating patients under the supervision of an experience DDI faculty member. Participants will apply their previous didactic and hands-on training, such as atraumatic extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, suturing, and much more. Our participants all agree that there is no better way to start placing implants routinely, than to complete the first few cases done with the supervision of an expert.

Cursus Implantologie SAPO IMPLANT
Ce cursus de formation s’adresse à tous les omnipraticiens désireux de mettre en oeuvre et/ou de développer l’implantologie dentaire au sein de leur cabinet. Il est conçu pour assurer une synergie efficace des 5 modules qui le composent.
L’inscription à ces 5 modules est donc indissociable. La présence des participants à tous les modules est indispensable et obligatoire pour valider l’enseignement.

- Module 1 : Le patient, l'implant et le chirurgien (22 au 24 Janvier 2025) Assimiler et comprendre la technique fondamentale de la chirurgie implantaire. Asseoir sa démarche sur les bases scientifiques avérées. Connaître les impératifs pour établir un plan de traitement.
- Module 2 : L'implant et l'imagerie (13 et 14 Mars 2025) Bien comprendre l’imagerie dentaire pour bien traiter : comment gagner en efficacité et en sécurité. Imagerie conventionnelle : que comprendre d’une panoramique, d’un bilan rétro alvéolaire ? Quand et pourquoi passer un scanner ? Qu’en apprendre pour établir son plan de traitement ? Quelle place donner aux logiciels de planification 3D ?
- Module 3 : L'anatomie et l’implant (11 au 13 Juin 2025) Maîtriser l’acte chirurgical, prévoir, anticiper, déjouer les obstacles chirurgicaux. Revoir l’anatomie chirurgicale. Pose d’implants sur Modèles 3D.
- Module 4 : L'implant et le projet prothétique (2 et 3 Octobre 2025) Maîtriser la relation entre la chirurgie et la prothèse implanto-portée. Acquérir les automatismes dans l’établissement du plan de traitement. Assurer le résultat du projet prothétique à long terme.
- Module 5 : L'implant et les aménagements péri-implantaires (20 et 21 Novembre 2025) Maîtriser les aménagements péri-implantaires. Assurer l’intégration tissulaire des implants dentaires. Savoir quand & comment mettre en charge.
