Immediate implant placement is an appealing treatment concept as it requires minimal surgery, and it offers the possibility for instantaneous tooth replacement with a provisional implant-supported crown. However, the treatment concept needs to be well indicated and the surgical procedure is technically demanding. The purpose of this cadaver course is to provide the implantologist a step-by-step approach to arrive at a predictable outcome with immediate implants. Soft tissue augmentation procedures will also be covered in this cadaver course since these are often needed after immediate implant placement. Different harvesting techniques will be taught.

Join this masterclass in which the current scientific improvements will be discussed, regarding osseointegration, mucointegration and ‘one abutment one time’ protocols from anterior esthetic rehabilitation to full-arch rehabilitations. We will look back on what we have learned in the last 15 years of implantology and look forward to new possibilities in the field of digital technology, implant and abutment surfaces, new abutment and restorative concepts, a selection of restorative materials and planning the emergence profile with a biologically driven concept.

Kurset er utviklet slik at deltakerne skal få den beste innsikt i den implantatprotetiske verden med alle dens komponenter og være i stand til å begynne med dette etter kurset. Men kurset har også fokus på viktigheten av god behandlingsplanlagging med et tverrfaglig samarbeid sammen med blant annet kirurg.
