This small group comprehensive 2-Day program focuses on the merits of embracing immediate implant placement as a patient centered implant prosthodontic treatment solution. Through a series of live and previously recorded surgeries, formal presentations, group discussions and hands-on training, dental teams will become familiar with the merits of immediate placement protocols for both the single tooth and full arch solutions. Particular emphasis will be placed on how best to have the entire team embrace and advocate for immediate implant placement protocols to be adopted in dental practices.

Immediate implant placement is an appealing treatment concept as it requires minimal surgery, and it offers the possibility for instantaneous tooth replacement with a provisional implant-supported crown. However, the treatment concept needs to be well indicated and the surgical procedure is technically demanding. The purpose of this cadaver course is to provide the implantologist a step-by-step approach to arrive at a predictable outcome with immediate implants. Soft tissue augmentation procedures will also be covered in this cadaver course since these are often needed after immediate implant placement. Different harvesting techniques will be taught.

Join this full day of hands-on learning of the complete digital workflow from data acquisition to diagnosis and treatment of the partially and fully edentulous patient with the DTX ecosystem.

Learning objective

Flapless immediate implant placement and provisionalization (FIIPP) is a modern treatment method characterized by fast time-to-teeth, less surgical interventions with equal or better prosthetic results and better patient acceptance.

Dr. Edith Groenendijk and Dr. Tristan Staas have recently published a peer-reviewed study on the Flapless Immediate Implant Placement and Provisionalization (FIIPP) technique and the factors that affect its esthetic outcomes.  

In this course, they will take you through each step of FIIPP, from diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical and prosthetic protocols, demonstrating the methods that can optimize predictable, long-term success.

• Point out the crucial steps that will lead to a predictable treatment outcome
• How to achieve primary stability needed for immediate loading
• Step-by-step procedure by means of literature, cases and live surgery
• Digital planning and prosthetic workflow
• Get familiar with the surgical protocol for NobelActive, a reliable implant solution for high initial stability and soft and hard tissue preservation

Designed for smaller groups, this observation program will allow you to follow in detail the daily work and surgical schedule of MALO CLINIC Clinical team with a key focus on high skilled cases as well as on the combination of the All-on-4® surgical protocol with the use of zygoma implants; for severely atrophic maxillae, this procedure is complemented with extra-maxillary anchored implants - Hybrid and Double-Zygoma approaches - which treatment planning and placement will be covered in detail during this training session.

Zygomatic implant treatment plays a pivotal role in rehabilitating edentulous maxillae, especially in cases of extreme bone atrophy. This session deep dives in the essential criteria for selecting zygomatic implants as the treatment option,  emphasizing on anatomical guided decision making process, surgical concepts, and the importance of specialized skill training. Where are the boundaries for Zygoma treatment vs other full arch rehabilitation protocols?

This 6 day comprehensive All-on-4® and Full Arch Immediate Loading LIVE patient program covers the treatment planning, surgical, prosthetic and the laboratory phases of the full arch immediate load prostheses for edentulous patients and those with terminal dentition.

Each participant will surgically treat two All-on-4® immediate loading cases. Also, attendees will be observing and participating as a group in one or more immediate restorations of full arch immediate loading cases.

A unique live surgical opportunity to learn the All on 4® treatment with digital workflow from expert instructors.

Each attending dentist will treat an upper and lower arch and learn the digital workflow process to immediate temporization of a 3D printed prosthesis.
