Digital Full Arch Protocols in Clinical Practice

Mayo 07 - Nov 14, 2025
99 Queen's Rd, HK
Más información
Dr. James Chow

Ever since Dr. Paulo Maló published the first article on the All-on-4™ protocol for implant reconstruction of the mandibular full arch in 2003, there have been significant changes in the way dental professionals managing patients for full-arch implant restoration. Initially, there were concerns regarding the use of only four implants to support a full arch fixed restoration. The dental community exercised caution, particularly when the All-on-4™ protocol was indicated for immediate loading.

After 25 years of clinical application and extensive documentation, All-on-4™ has firmly established itself as an effective method for full arch and full mouth dental implant reconstruction, particularly in patients with limited bone volume in the posterior oral regions.

In recent years, dentistry has been undergoing digital transformation, with the integration of a complete digital workflow into dentists' everyday practices, including dental implant treatments.

This three-day course aims to present the long-term evidence of All-on-4™ from both literature sources and real-world experiences. Additionally, the course will demonstrate the benefits of digitalization in full-arch protocols with live procedures. Hands-on sessions will provide participants with life-like models for an immersive learning experience. Whether you and your team are experienced in All-on-4™ or new to it, this course will be highly beneficial for your dental implant practice in the digital age.

Mastering implant surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation: A comprehensive guide from theory to practice

Jun 25 - Nov 25, 2025
Sassuolo, IT-MO, IT
Más información
Prof. Jose Marcio
Dr Francesco Mintrone

4 days theory, hands-on and live surgery

5 days planning and treatment on patients

Intense theoretical-practical course

This immersive course is designed to elevate your skills in implant surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation, taking you through a complete learning journey—from foundational anatomical principles to complex clinical applications. Whether you are an experienced clinician looking to refine your expertise or a practitioner eager to deepen your understanding of implantology, this course offers a unique blend of theory, hands-on practice, and clinical case management.

Starting with a thorough evaluation of anatomical bases, we will explore the indications for implant placement, focusing on the crown-down approach. This technique enables participants to identify the future free gingival margin and assess whether the site requires tissue regeneration or is in an optimal condition. We will then dive into prosthetic profile evaluation as a fundamental step in surgical planning, followed by an in-depth analysis of various implant site scenarios: immediate post-extraction implants, implants in healed tissues, and advanced soft and hard tissue management.

Key surgical techniques will be covered, including connective tissue graft, free gingival graft, horizontal and vertical bone augmentation, and soft tissue management. We will also explore the biological considerations of the implant-to-restoration interface, ensuring long-term success. Alongside these surgical principles, emphasis will be placed on the planning and design of prosthetic rehabilitation, balancing the critical biological factors with the aesthetic excellence required for every restoration.

During the second session of the course, participants will be tasked with applying the knowledge gained in the first phase. You will plan and execute clinical cases, starting from patient evaluation and surgical planning to the actual surgery, concluding with the delivery of provisional restorations where applicable. This real-world application solidifies the concepts learned and gives you the confidence to bring these advanced techniques into your practice.

Take home concepts:

  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomical foundations and implant indications
  • Mastery of the crown-down technique for optimal implant placement
  • Proficiency in assessing prosthetic profiles for precise surgical planning
  • Experience with immediate post-extraction implants and implants in healed sites
  • Advanced techniques in soft tissue management, including free gingival grafts and connective tissue grafts
  • Expertise in the evaluation and planning of bone regeneration treatments, both vertical and horizontal augmentations
  • Insights into the biological principles of the implant-to-prosthetic interface
  • Practical application of surgical planning, case management, and provisional restoration delivery
  • The ability to confidently plan, execute, and manage complex implant and prosthetic cases from start to finish

This course will provide you with not only the theoretical knowledge but also the practical skills needed to elevate your practice and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Immediate implant placement can be challenging, especially in the aesthetic zone. How can we persistently achieve predictable results and longevity of the treatment? Immediate implant placement and provisionalisation (IIPP) is a well-documented treatment modality with long-term success rate. The key is understanding the perfect balance of biology and prosthetics to achieve a natural, harmonised outcome. Understanding the limitations and different techniques of hard tissue grafting and soft tissue manipulation procedures will facilitate achievement of optimal aesthetic outcome in complex cases. This course aims at explaining the indication, diagnosis, planning and execution with focus on current technologies and concepts to guide you through the thinking process.

Tilted implants - Rehabilitation of atrophic jaws - Cadaver lab

Sep 26 - 27, 2025
IT-VR, IT
Registrarse
Dr. Matteo Clerico
Prof Enrico Agliardi

The tilted implant approach has been a revolutionary technique that has changed the way total implant-supported rehabilitation is done.

Increased patient comfort, time savings, cost savings, and improved esthetic outcome are just some of the advantages brought by these treatments in modern dentistry. Thanks to new trans-sinusal and trans-crestal implant placement methods, it is possible to avoid bone grafting and take advantage of residual bone by tilting the implants not only in the mesio-distal but also in the palato-vestibular direction.

You will be able to try the original protocols with your own hands and place implants according to the Tilted Implants approach. Through surgery on anatomical preparation, it will be possible for each participant to try in real bone every rehabilitation option for atrophic jaws: All-on-4 maxillary and mandibular, Trans-Sinus, Trans-Crestal, Pterygoid and Zygomatic implants.

Learning objectives:

-Learn to perform the correct treatment option based on bone availability.

-Learn  how to place tilted implants following the original all-on-4 and V-II-V protocol.

-Learn how to manage implant failure in total rehabilitation with tilted implants.

-Learn how to perform trans-sinus and trans-crestal implants in thin residual ridge.

-Learn how to place single and double zygomatic implants.
