Prof. Dennis Rohner

Simple to complex cases with the All-on-4® treatment concept presented by Prof. Dennis Rohner

In this second lecture from the Nobel Biocare EAO Congress Industry Forum, Prof. Dennis Rohner presents a range of full-arch cases from straightforward to the most complex clinical situations.

In the opening of this presentation, Prof Rohner emphasizes the contemporary patient desire for faster treatment times for full-arch restorations – thanks to the All-on-4® treatment concept this demand can be met across a wide spectrum of cases.

He delves into the details of each step of this treatment technique, from meticulous digital treatment planning, the needs and activities of the technician, the surgical protocols, immediate to final restoration. Starting with an example of straightforward case of one toothless jaw, he proceeds to more challenging bimaxillary cases, and finally, an extreme case of a patient with a tumor; a squamous cell carcinoma tumor on the inner cheek and soft palate, which was removed, followed by reconstruction using free flap from a lower limb. In this case, a full restoration was possible with the quad zygoma approach to the All-on-4® treatment concept. At her recent four-year follow-up, Rohner tells us the heartening conclusion that his patient was so happy with the quality of life brought to her by the All-on-4® treatment concept.
