My Consignment

My Consignment is an online tool to support you in keeping track of your Nobel Biocare consignment stock. It helps you to re-order product and to see your inventory.

What is a barcode?

A barcode is an optical machine-readable representation of data relating to the object it is
attached to. 

What type of barcode is used by Nobel Biocare?

Nobel Biocare uses a 2D barcode. See an example below.

Where do I find the barcode on the product?

The barcode is printed on the label of the product together with the product REF article number, the description, and the LOT number. 

Which barcode scanners can I use?

Nobel Biocare recommends the following barcode scanner:

USB: Unitech MS337 USB compatible scanner 

How do I connect the barcode scanner to my computer?

You will receive a scanner that uses a USB connection as shown above. Connect the scanner to a USB port on your Mac or PC. The scanner will “beep” when it is connected. You can test your scanner by scanning a barcode into an open Excel spreadsheet. You will see the barcode appear on the spreadsheet.

When will shipped (replenishment order) products appear in my inventory?

Products shipped will automatically appear in My Consignment section once they have left the Nobel Biocare warehouse. 

What do I do if the product will not scan?

If a product does not scan, manually enter the Nobel Biocare article number with the batch number and select “Send usage request”. The product will be consumed and automatically removed from "View stock" overview under My Consignment section

What do I do if "Check stock" does not match?

During the audit, you will have an opportunity to locate any missing material. If materials cannot be located, the reconciliation is closed, at which time you agree to be billed for any missing product.

Can I still order products manually?

Yes. Products that are part of your consignment inventory may be ordered manually either through the online store, the local Nobel Biocare Sales Representative, or by calling Customer Service. However, products ordered manually will not be visible to the replenishment system and could result in overstock. Products that are not part of “My Consignment” can be ordered manually, as mentioned above. 

Can I modify inventory levels for articles in My Consignment?
