creos allo.gain – allogenic bone particulates

Wide range of options

creos allo.gain offers one of the broadest assortments of allogenic bone particulates on the market. It can be used for a number of clinical indications including sinus floor elevation, socket preservation, ridge augmentation and periodontal defects. With creos allo.gain you have the flexibility to choose the appropriate allograft depending on patient indication or personal preference.

Mineralized/demineralized bone

A unique blend of 70% mineralized and 30% demineralized cortical bone, combining the key benefits of each graft material in one product. It provides a great mix between strong structural support and fast bone formation.

Corticocancellous bone

A natural blend of cortical and cancellous bone produced from sections of the ilium. This mixture provides the stability and structure of the cortical bone while the spongy nature of cancellous bone allows for easier penetration of blood vessels for revascularization of the site.

Mineralized cancellous bone

The porous structure of cancellous bone allows for revascularization, which is critical for the formation of new bone cells.

Mineralized cortical bone

This particulate offers high density and strength comparable to the cortical autograft. Its ability to maintain space and volume makes it ideal for more demanding indications such as horizontal or vertical augmentation procedures.

Demineralized cortical bone

The demineralization process exposes the natural growth factors within the cortical bone. This particulate can be beneficial for indications where no structural support is needed, such as socket preservation or periodontal defects.

creos allo.gain demineralized bone matrix (dbm) putty is 100% pure allograft without any filler or inert carrier. It resists hydration, maintaining the required stability and space during the healing phase. Typical applications for the creos allo.gain dbm putty are socket preservations and periodontal defects.

The creos allo.gain dbm putty can be molded for precise adaptation to bone defects. The convenient dispenser allows for easy application of the graft without the need for prior rehydration. This saves valuable time during surgery.

100% pure allograft – contains growth factors

The creos allo.gain dbm is 100% pure demineralized allograft with no filler or inert carrier. Each donor lot is verified for natural growth factors.1

High stability and structural integrity

The graft resists irrigation and maintains space and form during healing. This increases the predictability of the result.

Three volumes – just the right amount

The creos allo.gain dbm putty is available in three different volumes. This means that the required amount can be used with minimal excess material: 0.5 cc, 1.0 cc and 2.5 cc.

creos allo.protect – pericardium membrane

An effective and reliable barrier

creos allo.protect is a fully resorbable allogenic pericardium membrane for guided bone regeneration (GBR) and guided tissue regeneration (GTR) procedures. Since the natural function of the pericardium is to protect the heart, it's by nature extremely strong and stable. This makes creos allo.protect an effective barrier membrane for protecting the graft site during healing.

Quick to place – easy to handle

Save valuable time during surgery with creos allo.protect. It adapts well to surface contours and keeps its shape and size when placed. In addition, creos allo.protect is quickly rehydrated and easy to manipulate.

Reduce the risk of tearing, and therefore wasting, a membrane during surgery. creos allo.protect is easy to tack and suture, while retaining high tear resistance.

Durable protection

The unique collagen fiber structure of the native pericardium collagen matrix makes it extremely strong and stable. The pericardium membrane also tends to degrade slowly, ensuring a highly effective barrier during healing.

Biocompatible and tissue friendly

The production process preserves the membrane's native collagen matrix to maintain the mechanical properties of the tissue.

Four sizes – optimal fit

Whether larger bone augmentations or smaller periodontal defects, the optimal fit can be found without extensive trimming. This limits excess material and minimizes costs for you and your patients. creos allo.protect is available in four different sizes: 10 x 10 mm, 15 x 20 mm, 20 x 20 mm and 20 x 30 mm.

Tissue bank safety and quality

Our tissue bank follows strict processing procedures in order to ensure safe tissue grafts of the highest quality for transplantation.

Donor screening

All donors are thoroughly screened by certified doctors using medical and social history assessments, medical records, blood tests, culture results, physical examinations and autopsy reports. Additionally, extensive tests are performed in order to ensure no infectious diseases are present. All donors are sourced within the United States.

Tissue processing

All our tissue is processed and sterilized within fourteen class 100 clean rooms. Each donor is processed individually to prevent cross-contamination.

Air purification

A sophisticated air recycling system is used in the clean room area in order to prevent cross-contamination. Each of the fourteen clean rooms is connected to its own dedicated individual freestanding air purification system.  

Sterility

All our final packaged allograft products have a validated Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6. In this way, we ensure the highest standard of product sterility and tissue safety.

Cases

Dan Holtzclaw, USA – Ridge augmentation

Situation: No site preservation of the mandibular right second premolar, first molar and second molar after extraction. Bone regeneration prior to implant placement is indicated.

Solution: Piezoelectric ridge splitting procedure followed by bone grafting with creos allo.gain 70/30 mineralized/demineralized bone particulate and then covered with a creos allo.protect barrier membrane. After three months of healing, two NobelSpeedy Replace implants are placed.

Dan Holtzclaw, USA – Extraction site preservation

Situation: Significant dehiscence defect of mandibular buccal plate, tooth extraction indicated.

Solution: Extraction of hopeless tooth, followed by bone grafting with creos allo.gain 70/30 mineralized/demineralized bone particulate and then covered with a barrier membrane. After three months of healing, a NobelSpeedy Replace implant is placed.
