creos™ absorbable collagen dental wound dressings

creos™ xenocote, creos™ xenotape and creos™ xenoplug.

Applicable for a variety of indications

creos absorbable collagen wound dressings for dental surgery are soft, white, pliable, non-friable, absorbent sponges made from collagen obtained from bovine deep flexor (Achilles) tendons.

Depending on the chosen wound dressings product, one or more of the following applications are suitable: minor oral wounds, closure of grafted sites, repair of Schneiderian membrane, palatal donor sites, mucosal flaps, extraction sites, biopsy sites.

Wound management

creos dressing products are intended for use on moist or bleeding oral wounds where a stabilized blood clot can help protect the wound surface from further injuries. creos xenoplug, xenotape and xenocote can be used during surgical procedures prior to wound closure or left in-situ.

Structural integrity

creos absorbable collagen wound dressings are highly porous. Dressings retain their structural integrity even when wet. The structure of the dressings provides a three-dimensional matrix to support the blood clot.

Wound protection

creos absorbable collagen wound dressings help control bleeding and stabilize the blood clot and provide protective coverage.

Convenience

The choice of three different shapes for common oral wounds brings convenience and flexibility to everyday clinical use. They are provided ready to use and are easy to handle.
