Brånemark System Mk III

Brånemark System Mk III is intended for medium to hard bone. Its implant design is based on the original Brånemark System with parallel walls and three cutting chambers. The implant is designed to achieve optimal implant stability in all bone qualities.

Brånemark System Mk IV

With its slightly tapered body, Brånemark System Mk IV is designed to maximize initial stability in soft bone. The shallow cutting edges on its threads are specifically designed for soft bone indications.

Brånemark System Shorty

Brånemark System Shorty measures just 5.5 mm in the bone and allows for graftless procedures even in cases with advanced tissue resorption. It's available either with machined or TiUnite collar.

Brånemark System Zygoma

Brånemark System Zygoma is the most documented Zygoma implant solution on the market for the severely resorbed maxilla when bone grafting is not an option.1 The implants range from 30–52.5 mm in length and are available either with machined or TiUnite surface.

The original connection for thin marginal soft tissue

The external hex connection is the original connection developed by Professor P-I Brånemark. It offers unmatched prosthetic versatility with a choice of six to twelve abutment positions and a short crown-to-first-thread distance. This is ideal for use with thin marginal soft tissue.

Cases

Dr. Rubén Davó, Spain – complete solution for severely resorbed maxilla and mandible

Situation: 60-year-old female with severe bone resorption of the upper and lower jaw with complete dentures.

Solution:  Brånemark System Zygoma and NobelReplace Tapered implants were used to rehabilitate the maxilla. For the mandible, the All-on-4® treatment concept was chosen. As a final prosthesis, fixed precision-milled NobelProcera Implant Bridges were chosen for both the maxilla and the mandible.

Dr. Hadi Antoun, France – GBR and simultaneous implant placement

Situation: Extraction of two lower right molars indicated, vertical bone defect at first molar. 

Solution: GBR procedure using creos xenoprotect collagen membrane and simultaneous implant placement with a Brånemark System MK IV implant. Restorative solution using a NobelProcera Titanium Abutment and a screw-retained crown.

Dr. Lesley A. David, Canada – immediately loaded full-arch rehabilitation using NobelGuide

Situation: 65-year-old male, edentulous in the upper jaw. The dentures were made six years prior.

Solution: In the maxilla, five Brånemark System Mk III Groovy implants and one NobelSpeedy Shorty implant were placed. As a final restoration, a NobelProcera Implant Bridge Titanium with acrylic teeth was chosen.

Dr. Edmond Bedrossian, USA – Fixed implant restoration of the edentulous maxilla

Situation: 73-year-old healthy female, unable to function with her existing maxillary distal extension partial dentures.

Solution: Removal of the existing maxillary teeth. Immediate placement of two NobelSpeedy Groovy and two Brånemark System Zygoma implants, followed by a provisional restoration with Immediate Function. A screw-retained NobelProcera Implant Bridge Titanium framework was chosen as the final restoration.
