Date: Tuesday, February 7, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Speaker: Dr. Alessandro Pozzi
Location: Room Fujairah A, hall 8

Immediate placement of an implant in the extraction socket can present a challenge due to a reduced bone volume. Proper planning with consideration for the final outcome is a prerequisite for successful treatment. The surgical technique used to ensure high initial stability, allowing Immediate Function, will be discussed.

The design of the provisional restoration presents a challenge as it plays an important role in soft tissue development. Proper provisional restoration guides and simplifies workflow in creating the final restoration. Selection of the final abutment and use of screw-retained or cement-retained solutions based on indication can be key to success.

Importance of retaining adhesion of peri-implant mucosa by using non-removable prosthetic components – Innovative On1 concept and Universal Base.

Date: Tuesday, February 7, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Speaker: Dr. Giacomo Fabbri
Location: Room Fujairah A, hall 8

Minimal manipulation of soft tissues around dental implants plays an important role in long-term treatment success. Prosthetic components placed at the time of surgery and never removed, allow for the uninterrupted adhesion of the soft tissue, preventing additional trauma to the junctional epithelium.

The On1 concept, with the On1 Base component attached to the implant during surgical procedure, raises the prosthetic platform to the level of the gingiva, still allowing the flexibility of the screw-retained and cemented restorative solution. Using screw-retained restorative components allows for safer restoration, and a Universal Base simplifies the workflow.

Immediate rehabilitation of atrophic jaws with All-on-4® treatment concept: surgical protocol

All-on-4_Enrico-Agliardi.jpg

Date: Wednesday, February 8, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Speaker: Dr. Enrico Agliardi
Location: Room Fujairah A, hall 8

The All-on-4® treatment concept is a combination of surgical and prosthetic protocols. A surgical protocol requires an understanding of implant position and angulation in order to avoid penetrating anatomical structures and to place the implant in the ideal restorative position.

During the hands-on session, all participants will have the opportunity to perform the surgical element of the All-on-4® treatment concept. The surgical protocol will be followed step by step using NobelParallel Conical Connection.

Immediate rehabilitation of atrophic jaws with All-on-4® treatment concept: prosthetic protocol with the use of Multi-unit Abutment Plus.

Date: Wednesday, February 8, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Speaker: Dr. Giacomo Fabbri
Location: Room Fujairah A, hall 8

The All-on-4® treatment concept is a combination of surgical and prosthetic protocols. Restorative protocols require the position of the implant prosthetic platform to be meticulously planned.

During this hands-on session, all participants will have the opportunity to perform the conversion of an overdenture into a fixed temporary restoration as part of the All-on-4® treatment concept, using the Multi-unit Abutment Plus with snap-on function. A procedure to produce a cost-effective final restoration will be discussed.
