Workshops and hands-on sessions

Making it easy for patients to say “Yes”: An extraordinary treatment acceptance workshop

Date: Thursday, September 17, 2015
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Speaker: Dr. Paul Homoly
Cost: $125 Clinicians / $45 Office Staff

Abstract :
Dr. Paul Homoly has taught thousands of dentists and their teams the skills to make case acceptance predictably successful. This one-day workshop is designed for the clinician and team members who want to enjoy improved case acceptance for advanced dentistry – cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. Many dentists have the technical knowledge to provide advanced dentistry, but are frustrated with low patient acceptance of their treatment recommendations. With the many technical advances in the clinical aspects of care, treatment plans are growing more complex, making case acceptance even more challenging than in years past. Now, more than ever, the dentist and team need a predictable process for leading their patients towards good dental healthcare decisions.

Learning Outcomes:
1.  Understand the distinctions between simple and complex-care patients.
2.  Identify whether your patient is ready for advanced care.
3.  Critically evaluate the role of leadership during the case acceptance process.
4.  Discover ways to reduce the stress of case acceptance
