Dr. Zarb received his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1995 and completed a one-year general practice residency at VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.  He completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics and a MSc degree at the University of Toronto in 2002.  In addition to private practice in Toronto, Dr. Zarb is a staff prosthodontist at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health.

Dr. Steven Bongard

Dr. Bongard obtained his DDS degree from The University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1986. His professional interest has been concentrated on all aspects of implant dentistry since 1995. He has extensive experience in implant placement, bone grafting procedures as well as the prosthetic component of implant restoration. He has published and lectured both nationally and internationally on implant placement, All-on-4,® “Guided” implant surgery, and alternative implant solutions.  He presently maintains a dental practice in Toronto that is exclusive to the placement and restoration of dental implants. His recent focus has been on developing innovative implant solutions for predictable same-day treatment of the severely atrophic edentulous patient.

Dr. Nach Daniel

Dr. Daniel earned a Bachelor degree in Microbiology and a Masters degree in Molecular Biology in 1995. He then completed a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and a one year multidisciplinary residency at Université de Montréal. In 2006 Dr. Daniel completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Laval University in Quebec City. Dr. Daniel is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon and runs a private practice in Moncton New Brunswick. He is also an active member of the Moncton City Hospital.

Dr. Lesley David

Dr. David received her DDS from McGill University in 1993 and compelted her oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Toronto in 1999.  In addition to private practice in Toronto, Dr. David is a clinical instructor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Toronto and on staff at the Mt. Sinai Hospital, Trillium Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital.  She has published various articles and chapters on implant dentistry.  Dr. David lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. David French

Dr. French studied Dentistry at University of Alberta, graduating with the Gold Medal for first in class in 1991. Dr. French worked  in Calgary as a general dentist, then completed a specialty degree in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia. After graduation in 1994, Dr. French returned to Calgary to start a full-time private practice in periodontics and dental implants.  Dr. French is an active member of the Calgary dental scene. Dr. French was President of the Calgary and District Dental Society in 2000.  Dr. French founded the Comprehensive Treatment Planning Study Club and the Alberta Dental Implant Academy, a not for profit organization dedicated to public and professional education on dental implants. Dr. French is a part time clinical instructor and researcher at UBC and is also a fellow  of the International Team of Implantology (ITI). Dr. French is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American  bAcademy of Osseointegration and the Periodontal Research Study Group. He is a published author with topics as varied  as Papillon Lefevre disease to immediate implant loading, and several ten year case follow up reports. Dr. French has been an  invited speaker to the Canadian Academy of Periodontology Annual meeting in 2008 and 2012. Dr. French is currently preparing manuscripts, osteotome sinus lift series and a retrospective follow up of over 5000 implants up to ten years.

Dr. Scott MacLean

Dr. MacLean currently is a part-time clinical professor at the Dalhousie University Dental Clinic in the “Implant Elective” and the “Art Esthetic Elective.” He practices general dentistry in Halifax, NS with a large component of both referral based implant and esthetic dentistry. He is the founder and president of the “AIM4 Excellence” Atlantic Implant Mentorship Study Club. He has published articles inter–nationally on implant dentistry. He has been producing teaching videos for youtube presentations under the username of “smmaclean.” Dr. MacLean is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the Academy of Osseointegration, the Canadian Academy of Restorative Prosthodontics (CARDP), the Canadian Academy for Esthetic Dentistry (CAED), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the American College of Dentists.

Ms. Maxwell graduated from the  George Brown Denturist program in 2002. She worked in private practice for four years  before joining Chrysalis Dental Centers where she has been able to focus almost exclusively on the All-on-4 Treatment Concept.® Today, she is one of the profession’s most experienced and sought after specialists on the conversion and restoration of the All-on-4® permanent teeth treatment. Participating in over 2000 All-on-4® cases, she has extensive knowledge both on the clinical and laboratory side.

Kevin McAuley has 32 years of experience in the dental field as a Dental Technologist, Product Specialist and Trainer. Focused on many practical cases as a Dental Technologist, Kevin gained experience in numerous dental implants systems and created thousands of prosthesis for all indications. The last fifteen years have been focused on product development, Product launches and training of Nobel Biocare Solutions. He has lectured and given practical presentations relating to various implant systems. He is currently Director of Clinical Technologies and NobelProcera Manager for Nobel Biocare Canada Inc.

Dr. Samer Abi Nader

Dr. Nader attended McGill University where he earned a Degree in Physiology before completing his Dental Degree at the Université de Montréal in 2000. After a one year multidisciplinary residency program at the Jewish General Hospital, he completed his training in Prosthodontics at the Université de Montréal. Currently, he is the director of the Division of Restorative Dentistry at McGill University. In addition to his academic position, Doctor Abi Nader holds a part time practice in downtown Montreal and Moncton, New Brunswick.

Mr. Kelvin Nguyen

Mr. Kelvin Nguyen is the operating owner of Vision Dental Design Laboratory, a full-service dental laboratory in Irvine, California. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science and MicroBiology. He then received his Registered Dental Technician Certification in 2001 from Pasadena Dental Technology Program. He is has extensive training and knowledge in the NobelClinician software and NobelGuide with Smart Fusion technology, having worked with it regularly since 2005.

Dr. Romeo Paculanan

Dr. Paculanan graduated from Centro Escolar University, School of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines with the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1988. He practiced general dentistry in Manila before immigrating to Canada in 1996. After working as a dental technician for several years in Toronto, Dr. Paculanan returned to school to complete a Master’s Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008. Dr. Paculanan taught as a clinical lecturer at University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, and is currently faculty in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Paculanan is Course Director of the third year undergraduate Prosthodontic Course and is also the Director of IDAPP (International Dentists Advance Placement Program) Prosthodontics.

Dr. Stephen Parel

Dr. Parel received his dental degree from The Medical College of Virginia in 1969.  He spent one year as a general practice resident with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Richmond, which was followed by a two-year residency in Prosthodontics at the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles.  He received his Maxillofacial Prosthetics training in Houston at the M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute in 1973. He became a faculty member in the University of Texas System in 1975, rising to the rank of full professor in the San Antonio Medical and Dental Schools in 1978. He served as head of the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Division in the Department of Prosthodontics until 1991, which was followed by 7 years of private practice in prosthetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Parel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, the American and International College of Dentists, and is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of Prosthodontics, and the American College of Prosthodontics. He has been course director for osseointegration training at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in San Antonio, one of the four original Brånemark training centers in the United States. His literature contributions include over 45 scientific articles as principal author, and multiple textbook contributions. He was editor and co-author of Esthetics and Osseointegration, a landmark reference source for implant dentistry.  He authored his second book, The SmiLine System in 1991, and  completed a third book, Esthetic Implant Restorations several years later. He was co-founder of Osseointegration Seminars, Incorporated, and has been president of The American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, The Academy of Osseointegration, and The Osseointegration Foundation. He has received the Andrew J. Ackerman Award for meritorious lifetime service in the field of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, the Distinguished Lecturer and Dan Gordon Awards from the American College of Prosthodontics, and has served as an examiner and President of The American Board of Prosthodontists. He recently received the Branemark award for lifetime achievement in the field of Implant dentistry, the highest honor bestowed by the Academy of Osseointegration’s Foundation and The Titanium Society. Dr. Parel has served as a  professor at Baylor College of Dentistry—Texas A&M University System Health Science Center and director of the Center of Oral Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Pharmacology from 1998 until 2008. Since that time until 2013, he served as the founder and director of Prosthodontics at a private Implant Specialty Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He is presently in private practice, and serves as a consultant to several companies in the implant industry.

Dr. Paul Rosen

Dr. Rosen maintains a full-time private practice in Yardley, Pennsylvania, limited to periodontics, surgical implant placement and regenerative therapy. He also has an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School and Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry . Dr. Rosen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and serves as an Examiner for the oral examination. He has been a member of or chaired a number of committees for the American Academy of Periodontology. Most recently, Dr. Rosen chaired a task force that produced a White Paper that appeared in the April 2014 Journal of Periodontology titled, “Peri-Implant Mucositis and Peri-Implantitis: A Current Understanding of Their Diagnoses and Clinical Implications”. He is a reviewer for and serves on the editorial advisory boards for a number of dental journals. Dr. Rosen has authored/co-authored a number of articles and several book chapters on periodontal regeneration and dental implants and he has also lectured both nationally and internationally on these same subjects.

Ms. Michelle Ryckman

Ms. Ryckman has extensive experience in consulting with patients regarding high-end dental implant treatments. Her simple, no-pressure approach has proven to yield incredibly high case acceptance through her ability to connect with the patients and build their understanding and confidence for the proposed treatment. Her responsibility as Head Treatment Coordinator has expanded to include documentation and implementation of her systematic approach to other Chrysalis offices in Canada. she has been instrumental in training treatment coordinators for the United Smiles implant centres network in the United Kingdom, a group of over 50 practices. Michelle has presented nationally and internationally on the simple, logical approach that can identify and then eliminate the common barriers to patients saying "yes" to treatment.

Dr. Salib received his both undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Southern California and completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Indiana University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow in the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is the recipient of the International Hatton Award for his previous research endeavors. His current research focuses on comprehensive digital application and utilization for implant dentistry. He has authored numerous articles and lectures both in the United States and internationally. Dr. Salib maintains a private practice in Orange County, California.

Dr. Peter Schüpbach

Dr. Peter Schüpbach has a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Zürich and is the owner of Schüpbach Ltd a Laboratory for Histology, Microscopy and Imaging in the Zürich area of Switzerland. He is Associate Professor in Periodontics, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and Adjunct Professor in Periodontics, Georgia Health Sciences University, College of Dental Medicine. His research expertise focuses on biomaterials, particularly on dental and orthopedic implants. His research expertise focuses on biomaterials, particularly on dental and orthopedic implants and bone regeneration. He lectures worldwide on the biodynamics and histology of osseointegration and soft tissue healing.

Dr. Reena Talwar

Dr. Talwar is an Associate Professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Toronto and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She then completed a research fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center and received her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in a combined OMS/PhD training program at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.   Her primary clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, skeletal and facial deformities and trauma. Her PhD was focused on hormonal influences at the cellular and molecular level in chondrocytes from the temporomandibular and femoral condyle. She is currently developing a research project at the University of Alberta aimed at identifying specific cellular events in the oral cavity, in patients with Crohn’s disease.

Dr. Chandur Wadhwani

Graduate of the University of Washington, Seattle with Masters in Prosthodontics. He is in full time private practice limited to prosthodontics and in time outside the office has done extensive research on dental implant restoration including cements and radiology. Awarded Best Clinical Innovations lecture Presentation at 2014 Academy of Osseointegration. Author of the book: Cementation in Dental implantology: An evidence based guide, chapters in 4 other implant text books, with over 30 articles published on implant restoration. Currently working with graduate departments at: University of Washington, University of Texas, Loma Linda University and Oregon health Sciences. Believed to be the first investigator of microbial interactions with dental cements  and evaluating cement flow using computational fluid dynamics to predict cement extrusion force and flow.
