Module 2: Protocol voor chirurgie

• Kennismaken met de beschikbare materialen en sets voor implantologie
• Procedure voor freehanded chirurgie en guided chirurgie (met pilot drill & fully guided)
• Stap voor stap aanleren van het boorprotocol
• Aanleren van technieken als: Hoe een correcte incisie maken, ontwerp van een eventuele flap, een correcte hechttechniek
• Omgaan met verschillende bottypes/densiteiten
• Uitgebreid hands-on boorprotocol op verschillende modellen

Module 3: Het bereiken van een goed esthetisch resultaat

• Overlopen van de verschillende prothetische mogelijkheden en componenten
• Biocompatibiliteit van de materialen
• Verschroefd vs gecementeerd werken
• Afdrukname
• Handleiding voor de belangrijkste restauratieve opties
• Interactieve case discussies en prothetische hands-on oefeningen

Learning outcomes “Meteen door!” treatment concept:

Immediate replacement is a modern treatment method characterized by shortened time-to-teeth, less surgical interventions with equal or better prosthetic results and better patient acceptance. The “Meteen door!” concept means that the dentist does not extract the tooth but refers immediately to the clinician for immediate replacement.

Included in the course:

• Apart from working with our leading product, the NobelActive implant, participants will have the opportunity to discover our new implant system, Nobel Biocare N1™.
• All products that will be used and presented will have the TiUltra and Xeal surfaces. As we’ve entered the Mucointegration™ era, we have reimagined surface chemistry from abutment to implant apex, to optimize tissue integration at every level.
• Live surgery

Designed for those that want to broaden their experience in implant dentistry on total edentulous patients, including Zygoma cases, this training  covers the All-on-4® surgical protocol in detail concentrating on all existing  approaches – Standard, Hybrid and Double-Zygoma.

It offers participants  a comprehensive training that will allow them to gain the skills and know-how  to successfully rehabilitate atrophic mandibles/maxillae as well as severely  resorbed maxillae in just a few hours, including live surgery, hands-on on both fresh frozen cadavers (1 full-day) and models.     

The course will take you through all the relevant aspects of the MALO CLINIC Protocol, from patient selection to treatment planning, and anatomic and imaging considerations,  all the way through to the fitting of the immediate and final prostheses so you can offer  immediate function to your patients even when facing with extremely atrophic maxilla and  mandible cases.

MALO CLINIC Education has created an observation program where the participant follows the daily work and surgical schedule of the MALO CLINIC Clinical Team.

Our Clinical Residencies are typically for much smaller groups of participants with a lot more focus on the daily work of the clinic rather than just on lectures and pure training programs. The participant can observe surgeries or other treatments, interacting closely with the Clinical and Lab Teams throughout the practice’s day.
