The course held on 3 consecutive days will detail the current surgical and prosthetic concepts in implant dentistry as well as periodontal plastic & mucogigival surgery for achieving optimal and predictable aesthetic outcomes on teeth and implants in the aesthetic zone. Participants have the fantastic opportunity to learn from a world renowned clinician of outstanding expertise and experience through interactive lectures, literature review, interactive case presentation/treatment planning discussions and "Live treatment" videos.

This 2 day course aims to provide a detailed introduction to a range of skills and techniques which will enable you to promote the use of implants in your practice and confidently restore them. Day One − Case selection and treatment planning − Referring a patient for dental implant surgery do’s and don’t’s − Dental implant systems − Impression taking for single and multiple units, at implant and abutment level, conventional and with intra-oral scanner Day Two − Designing the prosthesis − Fitting implant restorations − Avoiding and managing implant and restorative failure − Maintaining your implant patients Hands on will include: − Post-surgical impression taking and techniques − Fitting implant restorations − Delegate case studies presentation and treatment planning clinics This course is ideal for practitioners who are new to restoring single implant units and short span implant bridges / or would like to develop their existing skills. We encourage you to bring your dental nurse for the first day. Susan’s nurse will take the nurses through all the procedures and components that you will be doing as a restorative implant dentist.

On completion of the course the delegates should have had an overview and be familiar with the most commonly used Nobel Biocare systems and accompanying products.

Our one day implant course for nurses will help you become confident in assisting and supporting your dentist in implant procedures. Whether you are new to implant nursing or already experienced, this course will enable you to achieve a greater understanding of your role during implant placement and increase both your confidence and competence. This hands-on course entitles you to 7 hours of verifiable CPD and provides you with opportunity to assist in live implant placement as well as learning the required theoretical procedures and protocols.

The Implant Course is a structured programme of didactic study delivered through a series of interactive lectures, seminars, hands-on training, live surgery and mentored clinical treatment. All courses are run by Richard in small manageable groups. The course is ideally suited for any General Dental Practitioner wishing to develop their knowledge of implant dentistry and is designed for dentists with little or no experience in implant dentistry.

This 1 day Advanced course is aimed at dental assistants who are currently assisting with implant placement that wish to progress in their career to support their dentist as they undertake more high-end dentistry.
