On1™ concept
Preserve the soft-tissue attachment without compromising flexibility.
Featuring Xeal: the pioneering Mucointegration™ surface.
What is the On1 concept?
The On1 concept preserves connective tissue structure while offering full restorative and surgical flexibility. The concept simplifies the restorative procedure by moving the platform from bone level to tissue level.
The On1 Base is connected to the implant during surgery and remains in position during the restorative process, minimizing disruption of the soft tissue.
Preserve the connective tissue structure
The connective tissue structure is left intact as the On1 Base remains in situ during the entire restorative workflow and throughout the lifetime of the restoration. Leaving the base in situ is in favor of marginal bone preservation and soft-tissue health.1,2
Simplify all restorative procedures
The On1 Base moves the prosthetic platform from bone level to tissue level. This makes attachment of restorative components and impression taking much easier as the connection is clearly visible.
Gain peace of mind
The On1 Base has a unique prosthetic connection, ensuring that only precision-engineered Nobel Biocare restorations are used.
Restorative flexibility
The On1 concept allows flexibility in the choice of On1 Base abutments depending on the thickness of the soft tissue, as well as giving the choice with the option to follow a conventional impression taking or an intraoral scanning workflow.
Choice of workflows
The On1 concept provides you with the option to follow the conventional impression taking or the intraoral scanning workflow using the special On1 IOS (Intraoral Scannable) Healing Cap which also acts as an intraoral scan abutment.
Choice of bases
Choice of On1 Base height to suit soft tissue thickness and increase treatment flexibility.
Choice of abutments
Choice of cement or screw-retained final restoration, depending on indication or clinical preference.
Preserves and promotes tissue attachment3,6
Shown to be safe and effective in a multi‐center investigation after 1 year of function with a mean bone gain of 0.26 mm from 6 to 12 months7
As strong as other prefabricated Nobel Biocare titanium abutments6,8
