Dr. Todd Scheyer

Dr. Todd Scheyer earned his bachelor’s degree in biology with honors from Arizona State University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Dental School at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, where he also received multiple clinical and research awards.

He then completed his certificate in Periodontics and Conscious Sedation and earned a master’s degree in biomedical science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His advanced training focused on perio‑prosthetic reconstruction and periodontal regeneration.

Dr. Scheyer has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Periodontology and is a past president of both the Southwest Society of Periodontists and the Texas Society of Periodontists. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

He maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Houston, Texas. In addition, Dr. Scheyer serves as a Clinical Assistant Instructor at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston and as a guest lecturer at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He remains actively involved in clinical research and publications from the private practice setting.
