Ms. Erika Hamerslag

Ms. Erika Hamerslag embarked on her journey in the dental field in 1994, starting as a Dental Nurse with a general practitioner in 's-Hertogenbosch, NL. Her responsibilities spanned chair-side assistance, sterilization, and managing both front and back-office operations. After nearly a decade of running this small clinic, she sought new challenges and transitioned to a larger clinic. In 2005, she began specializing in implantology at the CDC clinic in Best. Since 2009, she has been working at the clinic of Dr. Tristan Staas in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Her role expanded in 2015 when she started working as a research assistant on multiple studies and managed the “Meteendoor Study”, a three-year multicenter prospective study of 100 patients. She was also involved in the clinical studies that led to the development of Nobel Biocare’s N1 system.

Her passion for knowledge sharing led her to conduct multiple courses for dental assistants for Nobel Biocare. Her daily duties at the clinic include assisting Dr. Staas chair-side, coordinating scientific studies, managing the implantology department, and supporting Dr. Staas in all his activities for Nobel Biocare.

Outside the clinic, she continues to educate others by teaching various courses to both assistants and referring dentists and participating in hands-on courses with Dr. Staas. Since 2022, she has been working with Nobel Biocare HQ as a Project Consultant, further broadening her professional experience. Her journey reflects her commitment to continuous learning, growth, and the advancement of dental science.
