Dr. Bastian Wessing

Dr. med. dent. Bastian Wessing is a German-based clinician and researcher specializing in implant dentistry, with a focus on immediate implant placement and regenerative treatment concepts. His work centers on biologically driven hard and soft tissue regeneration, with particular expertise in guided bone regeneration using biomaterials.

He qualified as a certified dental technician in 2000 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2006 from the University of Aachen, Germany. His academic career began as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University Clinic of RWTH Aachen.

Dr. Wessing has played a pioneering role in the clinical and scientific development of the creos™ regenerative portfolio. As the first dentist worldwide to combine clinical application with scientific evaluation of creos™ xenoprotect, he contributed to its early validation and helped to build and establish the creos™ regenerative line within Nobel Biocare.

He has authored and coauthored numerous national and international peer-reviewed publications, serves as a reviewer for scientific journals, and is a frequent national and international speaker.

Dr. Wessing is Medical Director at MVZ Zahnkultur Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH, responsible for clinical strategy, quality assurance, and advanced regenerative treatment concepts.
