Dr. Reena Talwar

Dr. Reena Talwar is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a PhD in Biomedical Science.
Her academic career over the past 20 years has included the training of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents, undergraduate dental students and dental hygienists. She has been an invited lecturer in topics ranging from head and neck anatomy, oral radiology, and surgical techniques involving dental implant rehabilitation for patients.
She is active in her private clinic, Contours Oral Surgery, where she practices full scope oral surgery with an avid focus on rehabilitation of the partial and fully edentulous patient.
Dr. Talwar is actively involved in organizations supporting women in dentistry and recently established a scholarship at the University of Alberta in support of undergraduate dental students with aspirations for specialty training in oral surgery.
