Nobel Biocare introduces new S series implants with one smart connection.

Zurich, Switzerland - March 5, 2026 - The S series implant system represents a science driven approach to implant dentistry, bringing together clinically proven implant designs into one harmonized platform built around a single prosthetic connection. Designed to simplify clinical workflows while preserving clinical excellence, the S series implant portfolio is guided by validated scientific principles that respect biology, functionality, and long term stability.

At the core of the S series implants is one conical prosthetic connection (NP) used consistently across all implant sizes and indications. This unified connection allows clinicians to select implant diameters independently of the prosthetic interface, supporting greater intraoperative flexibility and streamlined treatment planning. By reducing component variability, the system helps minimize prosthetic inventory and simplifies team training—without compromising precision or performance.

The S series portfolio integrates proven implant body designs, including NobelActive® S, NobelParallel™ S, and NobelReplace® S, leveraging decades of clinical experience and established surface science. Available with TiUnite® and TiUltra™ surfaces, the implants are designed to support osseointegration and long term tissue stability, building on a foundation of documented clinical evidence.

Biological performance is a central design driver of the S series implants. Features such as a tight conical implant–abutment connection are intended to minimize bacterial leakage at the interface—an important factor when implants are placed sub crestally. In addition, the system supports platform shifting concepts that have been associated in the literature with favorable marginal bone preservation and stable peri implant tissues.

Importantly, S series implant portfolio is not a departure from trusted solutions, but an evolution. It aligns existing clinical protocols, instruments, and restorative components into a more cohesive and efficient platform. By combining simplicity with science based design choices, it aims to support predictable outcomes across a wide range of clinical indications—while making everyday implant dentistry easier to manage for the entire dental team.

With S series implants, science is not an added layer—it is the foundation. Every design decision reflects a commitment to evidence based dentistry, proven materials, and clinically validated concepts, delivering a platform that is strong in science and simple in practice.
