Nobel Biocare and Boston University announce philanthropic partnership

Boston, Massachusetts. Today, Nobel Biocare and Boston University agreed to a 10-year philanthropic partnership, effective July 1, 2022. Through this partnership, Nobel Biocare will provide $4 million ($400,000 per year) in products as an in-kind educational grant to the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) over the next decade. Students and residents at GSDM will have an opportunity to place and restore implants using this grant. Through this partnership, students and residents will receive dental implant components, regenerative products, tools, and prosthetics.

Nobel Biocare president Patrik Eriksson praised the agreement. "We are proud to partner with Boston University's prestigious Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Part of Nobel Biocare's philosophy of continuous innovation is ensuring tomorrow's dentists have access to a world-class portfolio of dental implant products.”

Goldman School of Dental Medicine Dean Cataldo Leone says, "This partnership between Boston University and Nobel Biocare is an ideal fit; both enjoy an international reputation of innovative research in life sciences. This partnership – and the material support it delivers – will prove beneficial in guiding the educational and clinical care components of our service mission through the next decade, and beyond."
