Nobel Biocare acquires Versah, expanding its regeneratives and implant solutions portfolio

Zurich, Switzerland - February 9, 2026 - Nobel Biocare, part of the Envista family of brands, announced the acquisition of Versah®, a leading innovator in dental osteotomy and bone densification solutions. By bringing Versah’s Densah® Burs and pioneering Osseodensification technique into its portfolio – supported by the regenerative leadership of Osteogenics – Nobel Biocare strengthens its ability to support clinicians with solutions that help shorten “time to teeth” by facilitating immediate implant placement and provisionalization in more cases. Their solutions also support regenerative procedures, such as sinus elevation and ridge expansion. This addition aligns with Nobel Biocare’s long‑standing commitment to advancing science‑driven implant solutions.

Founded in 2014 and based in Jackson, Michigan, Versah has transformed implant site preparation through its patented Densah Bur technology, the original innovation that has reshaped implant site preparation. Unlike traditional drills that remove bone, Densah Burs compact and autograft bone outward, helping create an osteotomy environment that is designed to support primary stability and widen treatment possibilities. Supported by more than a decade of biomechanical, histological, and clinical research and adopted by thousands of clinicians worldwide, this recognized innovative technology brings a differentiated, evidence-based advancement to Nobel Biocare’s regenerative and implant portfolio.

“We are thrilled to welcome Versah to Nobel Biocare,” said Stefan Nilsson, President of Nobel Biocare. “Their Densah Bur technology is grounded in significant scientific validation and represents an important advancement in how clinicians approach implant site preparation. Integrating this level of innovation reinforces our commitment to delivering evidence‑based solutions that support predictable, high‑quality patient care.”

Dr. Salah Huwais, founder of Versah, added: “Joining Nobel Biocare marks an exciting new chapter for Versah. With Nobel Biocare's global reach and strong clinical heritage, we can bring the benefits of Osseodensification to even more dental professionals and their patients. I’m looking forward to this next phase of innovation and growth together.”

The acquisition underscores Nobel Biocare's commitment to expanding its regenerative and implant solutions portfolio, delivering advanced clinical outcomes, and serving clinicians through innovation, quality, and digital excellence.
