Ce module est conçu dans le but d’optimiser les résultats fonctionnels et esthétiques des prothèses implanto-portées. Il détaille l’ensemble des étapes techniques et prothétiques, dont l’objectif principal est  d’obtenir une prothèse esthétique respectueuse de la biologie des tissus environnants.

Objectifs:

Immediate implant placement is an appealing treatment concept as it requires minimal surgery, and it offers the possibility for instantaneous tooth replacement with a provisional implant-supported crown. However, the treatment concept needs to be well indicated and the surgical procedure is technically demanding. The purpose of this cadaver course is to provide the implantologist a step-by-step approach to arrive at a predictable outcome with immediate implants. Soft tissue augmentation procedures will also be covered in this cadaver course since these are often needed after immediate implant placement. Different harvesting techniques will be taught.

Synopsis

In the conference, a systematic approach to implant rehabilitation in aesthetic areas will be evaluated, starting with the identification of the position of the incisal edge of the upper central incisor. Subsequently, through an assessment of dental proportions, the ideal future free gingival margin will be determined. By localizing the ideal gingival margin and comparing it with the location in the specific existing clinical situation, various techniques will be identified to make our prosthetic-surgical approach predictable. The conference will assess, through a series of step-by-step cases, from the ideal implant placement to surgical flap design and the management of hard and soft tissues in different clinical scenarios, ranging from the simplest situations to cases requiring vertical regeneration. In addition to the surgical approach, prosthetic sequences and materials will also be evaluated to achieve an optimal aesthetic result.

Learning Objectives

- To learn about the systematic approach to rehabilitate the esthetic region. Consistency on decision making is essential. 

- In addition, participants will learn how to correctly assess the dental proportions and the ideal gingival margin. 

- In addition during the session clinical cases will be shared to showcase step-by-step clinical protocols from treatment planning, to prosthetic considerations, including flap design, soft and hard tissue management and prosthetic workflows to ensure the optimal long lasting esthetic outcome.

This 3-day program (30 CE) delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of oral implantology, treatment planning, and restoring implants. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably select the proper implant components, make provisional implant restorations, take implant impressions, and restore implants with definitive prostheses. Our program is evidence based, with a focus on practical tips and tricks, and hands-on training, to allow you to provide implant therapy in your office.

Core 2: Implant Surgery & Restoratively Driven Treatment - Dr. Bobby Birdi

This 3-day program (30 CE) delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of oral implantology, surgical placement, flap design, suturing, and soft tissue management. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably treatment plan cases and surgically place implants. Our program is evidence based, with a focus on learning practical tips and tricks, and hands-on training, to allow you to provide effective implant therapy to your patients.

Core 3: Atraumatic Extraction & Bone Grafting - Dr. Ron Zokol

This 3-day program (30 CE) delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of atraumatic extraction, bone grafting, and immediate dental implant placement. We discuss the different bone grafting and membrane materials and techniques. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably select cases for immediate extraction, grafting, and implant placement. Our program is evidence based, with a focus on learning practical tips and tricks, and hands-on training, to allow you to provide effective and efficient implant therapy to your patients.

Core 4: PRF Workshop & Live-Patient Implant Surgery Program - Dr. Ron Zokol

The first day of this 3-day program focuses on the science and protocols of utilizing PRF and PRP in different clinical applications. Venipuncture is taught by a highly experienced phlebotomy instructor. The remaining two days will be spent treating patients under the supervision of an experience DDI faculty member. Participants will apply their previous didactic and hands-on training, such as atraumatic extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, suturing, and much more. Our participants all agree that there is no better way to start placing implants routinely, than to complete the first few cases done with the supervision of an expert.
