Cytoplast MicroDerm™
An acelluar allogenic dermal matrix that is strategically micro-surfaced.
Patented micro-cuts that are strategically added
Designed for enhanced vascularization and cell repopulation.
The channels created by the micro-cuts are on both sides of the matrix
Increase the area available for soft-tissue attachment by making the surface hydrophilic.
Strict tolerances on the thickness of the matrix,
1.2 +/- 0.2mm
Allows for consistent handling and predictability.
Cytoplast MicroDerm™ provides support during coverage procedures of localized gingival recessions and for local soft-tissue augmentation, especially intended to offer an alternative solution to increase patient comfort.
Hydrates rapidly
No antibiotics, no rinsing and if choosing to hydrate, it can be done in 60 seconds as the matrix is packaged dry.
Used for multiple indications
Repair or replacement of damaged or inadequate soft tissue, such as root coverage, gingival augmentation and soft tissue augmentation around natural teeth and implants.
Not side specific
Both sides of the matrix have micro-cuts, so side specificity is not an issue.
“The early healing and soft-tissue appearance is really where MicroDerm shines. Tissue never looks this good early on with traditional allograft.”

Cytoplast MicroDerm™ case study
Case photos provided by Shaun Rotenberg, DMD
“The tissue is very easy to handle when applying to your surgery site and the hydration time is shorter than its competitors. I believe its strongest clinical characteristic is the immediate adsorption of blood into the MicroDerm graft as you place into the recipient site. I am very pleased with the results I’m seeing.”
