Achieving anterior implant esthetics is challenging and demanding.

Creating implant restorations with harmonious gingival contour that emulate nature is a fusion of some

science and lots of art. Understanding the biologic and physiologic limitations of soft and hard tissue is

Implant en zone esthétique

La pose d’implant pour le remplacement des dents en zone esthétique demeure un énorme défi dans notre pratique. Le clinicien doit tenir compte d’un large éventail de concepts et d’approches différents, sans parler de la controverse et du désaccord dans la littérature entourant la surabondance de différents matériaux de remplacement des tissus durs et mous, pour le maintien et la stabilisation des tissus péri-implantaires. En particulier, il n’y a toujours pas de réponse concluante à savoir quel protocole de traitement est le plus prévisible : La pose d'implant immédiate tout en préservant autant de tissu péri-implantaire ou la pose d'implant retardée avec la meilleure reconstruction possible des structures manquantes des tissus durs et mous? Pour le clinicien, la prise de décision est souvent difficile, en particulier compte tenu que la maîtrise de plusieurs techniques est essentielle pour aboutir à un résultat esthétique et prévisible à long terme, sans oublier l’importance de la restauration immédiate pour le maintien des tissus péri-implantaires. La précision dans l’exécution des techniques est essentielle et fait toute la différence en zone esthétique.

Core 3: Atraumatic Extraction & Bone Grafting - Dr. Ron Zokol

This 3-day program (30 CE) delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of atraumatic extraction, bone grafting, and immediate dental implant placement. We discuss the different bone grafting and membrane materials and techniques. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably select cases for immediate extraction, grafting, and implant placement. Our program is evidence based, with a focus on learning practical tips and tricks, and hands-on training, to allow you to provide effective and efficient implant therapy to your patients.

 

Core 4: PRF Workshop & Live-Patient Implant Surgery Program - Dr. Ron Zokol

The first day of this 3-day program focuses on the science and protocols of utilizing PRF and PRP in different clinical applications. Venipuncture is taught by a highly experienced phlebotomy instructor. The remaining two days will be spent treating patients under the supervision of an experience DDI faculty member. Participants will apply their previous didactic and hands-on training, such as atraumatic extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, suturing, and much more. Our participants all agree that there is no better way to start placing implants routinely, than to complete the first few cases done with the supervision of an expert.

This introduction to Implant Prosthodontics Hands-On Training Program is designed for general dentists and members of their team to learn to handle and use implant surgical and prosthodontic components. Participants will be introduced to, and use, surgical drills and all surgical components required for an appropriate surgical drilling sequence, drilling into model blocks of varying densities and placement of a dummy implant. Prosthodontic components ranging from healing abutments, temporary abutments, impression copings and overdenture solutions will be discussed and handled. You will also learn about the benefits of intra-oral scanning for the patient and clinic as well as smile design and the importance of clinical photos.  Participants practice scanning on models and each other.

L’édentation Complète

La réhabilitation du maxillaire ou de la mandibule complètement édentés représente l'un des services de réhabilitation bucco-dentaire les plus importants offert en dentisterie implantaire. En effet, la perte de dents touche plus de 300 millions de personnes dans le monde, montrant également une augmentation de l'incidence chaque année (3%). Dans ce contexte, la réhabilitation chirurgicale et prothétique implanto-portée des patients atteints d’une atrophie modérée à sévère est difficile en raison de plusieurs facteurs spécifiques à la personne édentée. Les patients caractérisés par un édentement complet à long terme présentent souvent ces conditions uniques. L’atrophie engendrée par l’édentation limite les options de traitements offerts aux patients tant à la mandibule qu’au maxillaire supérieur.

We discuss the different bone grafting and membrane materials and techniques. You will leave this program with the ability to comfortably select cases for immediate extraction, grafting, and implant placement. Our program is evidence based, with a focus on learning practical tips and tricks, and hands-on training, to allow you to provide effective and efficient implant therapy to your patients.

 

Core 4: PRF Workshop & Live-Patient Implant Surgery Program - Dr. Ron Zokol

The first day of this 3-day program focuses on the science and protocols of utilizing PRF and PRP in different clinical applications. Venipuncture is taught by a highly experienced phlebotomy instructor. The remaining two days will be spent treating patients under the supervision of an experience DDI faculty member. Participants will apply their previous didactic and hands-on training, such as atraumatic extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, suturing, and much more. Our participants all agree that there is no better way to start placing implants routinely, than to complete the first few cases done with the supervision of an expert.
