Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark discovered osseointegration in 1952 and its principles were later acknowledged in 1982. The entire scope of Nobel Biocare's events in 2012 will revolve around highlighting how far Per-Ingvar Brånemark, together with Nobel Biocare and their supporters have brought the innovation of osseointegration since those days of breakthrough 60 and 30 years ago. Since then, millions of patients around the world have successfully received dental implants. These patients have improved their health and overall quality of life with fully functional and natural-looking results.
